Any way to turn off auto save when you quit?
I can't find it anywhere in the preferences. For example, if I'm winning big in a game and it crashes and I don't want to play the game over, just simulate it, but I lose, I don't want that loss on my record.
Thanks. |

![]() Seriously, I don't think there is cause I looked for that myself a few versions back. You might be able to do it in a txt editor on a txt file, I don't know. One of these smart guys will have to chime in. |

Do keep in mind, though, that when you do this, you greatly increase your chances of corrupting your league files. I'd like an option to disable saving when exiting and to not auto save at the end of the year. Really slows down sim times.

Also, using CTRL-ALT-Delete can cause "double history" in player cards, depending on when the last time the game was saved..... It might looking something like this:
4/8/2009 - Joe Smith goes 5 for 5 4/9/2009 - Joe Smith hits for the cycle 4/10/2009 - Joe Smith is traded to the brewers 4/11/2009 - Joe Smith drives in 7 4/8/2009 - Joe Smith injuries his calf, out 2 weeks |

I'm pretty sure on my vista computer it still tries to autosave while my XP machine doesn't. But next time I'll try actually killing the process. I ctl-alt-del somewhat frequently and haven't had any real issues with it.
