No talent in Ameteur Draft

Anyone notice a lack of talent in Amateur Draft? I'm just starting my first draft since purchase, into the second round, and the best batter available has 1.5 potential. The rest of the batters available are 1s and .5s. There are even about 6 MRs with better potential hitting ratings than the best outfield player available. The best starting pitcher availables have .5 potential. Plenty of talent for MR, as always. Basically my Scouting Director, who has 20 ratings across the board, is telling me that there is no potential major league talent left on the board (with the exception of MRs) around 34 picks into the draft. Maybe it's just a down year talent-wise? Or has anyone else seen this?

Yeah since so many kids nowadays play video games there's not much talent in little league or dixie league or college ball anymore. Blame it on OOTPBB pc games.

How high is your scouting accuracy set to? If it's off or too high, then it's common for all the talent to be gone in the first round.

This may be a function of how many rounds you have the game set to create players for. The more rounds you have in your draft, the deeper the talent pool.

Yes, the MLB game that comes with the game brings in a pretty poor draft class the first year. Never made it to the 2nd year yet. You'll have to do some tweaks before your second season if you continue.
