some set-up questions...

hey all!

i have a few simple questions.

1. ive imported the MLB logos, but chicago, new york and LA teams didnt link. Ive changed the logo names of these teams to include the (A) or (N) so that they match. However the cardinals also doesnt match for some reason. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Can i make these kinds of changes midway thru' a career, or would i have to start over?

what does the pitchers term 'stuff' refer to?

whats the difference between middle, mop-up and set-up relievers?

hope you can help.....thanks

...on the BNN broadcast, where it shows the positions of the players on the field, is it possible to reduce the information of the players so that it less cluttered? I find it very cramped.

and i also imported stadiums pics, but on the BNN broadcast the background stadium pic is blank.

can you help?

Change the "St._Louis_Cardinals" to "St_Louis_Cardinals", that will work.

Generally how good his pitches are when it comes to striking guys out. A player with higher stuff will strike out more opponents.

A mop-up guy is the pitcher you bring in when you are winning by a lot or losing by a lot. You just need someone to throw some innings and it doesn't matter too much if he gives up any runs. Long men are often mop-up guys - multiple inning relievers who usually aren't very good. A set-up man in today's game is generally the guy pitching the eighth inning. He is usually your second best reliever and is expected to keep the other team off the scoreboard so that the closer can come in for the 9th. A middle reliever is pretty much everybody else.

Nope, not that I know of.

You're going to need to do this for every team in your league.

Go to a team's Home Page and then the Options & Ballpark tab. Near the bottom of the screen you'll see an Edit Ballpark button. Then choose the Pictures & Coordinates tab. Where it says Daytime Picture and Night Picture, click the ... button. That brings you to your OOTP10 ballparks folder. Pick the picture you want.

Am I right in thinking that if you place a player on the 60 day DL he is temporarily removed from the active list, giving you room to add another player to use whilst he recovers from an injury?

Yet, does the same not apply to the 15 day DL?
I moved my SS to the 15day list, but can't add anyone to the active list.
Whats the benefit of moving someone to this list?

Im sure there's good reason...but either I cant see it or Im doing something wrong.

If you add someone to the 15 day DL it does remove him from your active roster, freeing up a space. But it does not remove him from your 40 man roster. You can move anyone from your 40 man roster to your active roster, but if you want to move someone who's not on your 40 man roster to your active roster you have to clear up a space on the 40 man roster for him.

60 day DL frees up a spot on the active and 40-man roster.
