I have to share this. I imported my OOTP 9 league, and my best pitcher just retired after one season in OOTP X. This is a fictional league. My team has been dominant in its division, never finishing lower than second, and we won the championship 10 times during his 21 seasons.

He had a record of 389-130 and a career ERA of 3.22. 4,324 strikeouts. 23 shutouts. He won 20 games seven times; he led the league in wins 11 times. This despite a "strict order" rotation.

He was selected to the All-Star game 17 times consecutively.

He retired at 40 and was an automatic hall-of-famer.

If you're talking about out of box, that would go to Dan Giese according to star ratings . Hanley Ramirez is the first batter though. Like I posted in the rosters thread, I'm going to make my own roster set because of false ratings like Giese's.
