Good OOTP5 League Looking for Lousy Owners
The ACL requires 3 owners for it's 10th season of activity.
We started with ootp2, then went to ootp3, then went to ootp4, and now we are making the move to ootp5. One day we will settle down with a version we like. This is a unique, tough league. (I know, we all say that). The ratings in this league are deceiving. The owners are deceiving too. And liars. And scumlike. And I'm just talking about the ones I like. We are finishing off our 1911 season (don't let the year fool you). Next week we proceed to V5 and the off-season festivities. Please feel free to check out our site, our rules, our way of life. If you are interested please send me an email. Experience is not necessary. Anyone has to be better than the dreck we have. Thank you. This is the best league ever!
Or, it is the worst league ever! Depends on how you look at it. Trust me. Free beer to the first 50 joiners. |

Martin is pretty awful, but toherwise the league is good. I've been in it since the beginning more or less. This one is fun no matter how hard Martin tries to run the league into the ground. It's pretty fun watching this displaced Canadian try to talk baseball. His grunts and howlings are comical.

The 1911 season is complete amid the turmoil and riots of an unruly Chicago mob. However, this will not deter our league from marching forward to it's glorious 10th season of joy and action.
Please take this amazing opportunity to stake out your claim for a franchise in the greatest league posted in this thread. Some of the great rookies who will be entering the league this season may include Joe Carter, Ron Darling, Christy Mathewson, Harold Reynolds, Al Nipper, Wee Willie Keeler, Ray Chapman, Stump Edington, Ray Schalk, Casey Stengel, Eppa Rixey, Johnny Evers, Joe Tinker, Cy Young, and Eddie Gaedel. This is a chance to rub shoulders with history and see what might have been if only things had worked out differently and the world did not spin on it's axis. Get up off the couch and participate. Take a stand and show what you are made of. There is no registation fee but donations are welcome. |

Martin was in my league and let me tell you, he was the worst owner we have ever had. When he finally left I gave a huge sigh of relief. Of course I never joined his league but I can't even imagine a scenario in which he would be a good commish. As you can see from this abortion of a thread, the guy has absolutely no sense of humor. Regardless, I would recomend that you join this league, if only to see just how bad a commish can be.
