Database editor

Is there a database editor for OOTPX? Does it come with the game or release separately?

You can edit many things, like player ratings, in game. You have to be in commissioner mode. To do this, go to the "Game" menu and add a new manager. Once you do, check off "Play in commissioner mode". Use this new manager whenever you want to make edits.

Speaking of editing the database, it would be great to have direct access to the database - at least read permissions. Direct access to the database would make the utility I'm making work much faster since it wouldn't have to deal with getting the stats first from the SQL script files.

Any chance on some of us programmers ever getting direct access to the database? Probably a bad time to ask, but I couldn't resist.

I'm just wondering if the "Create Fictional Player" button is the only way to create a player. I'm trying to add a few fictional players into the upcoming draft pool but I can't seem to figure out how to build them from the ground up. I keep having to "Create Fictional Player" and then once said player is generated I have to change everything about him. So is there a way to create my own or do I just have to keep editing the random computer generated fictional?

You have to create a player from a fictional player as you described in your prior post.
