I thought they were set too high also until I saw the cody8200 list. So I will leave my setting on modern setting. I like the fact that some player's have setbacks in their recovery. Nice touch I can see rehab assignments around the corner.

There are several different sizes which are used in the reports. OOTP creates them automatically when you load the league. They are in the /news/html/images folder. You can overwrite them with your own logos, this way you can have different logos for each size.
I proposed something very similar a few years back. As a result, I'm going to take credit for inspiring this plan. So there!

Or you could look at the Jays, who've gotten 9 IP out of their 2, 3 and 4 pitchers, combined, this season.

That's cool. I was referring to the guy who was having some issues.

My first impression after importing my old OOTP9 league:

The injury frequency is totally off the charts.

The in-game date for the imported league was July 31st and I simmed pretty quickly to October. On importing the game I had two guys with season ending injuries on the DL. After simming through roughly 2 and a half months my disabled list looks like this:

5 of these guys were starting players, one a prime reliever and the rest backups.
The funny thing is I'm still winning games as the AI teams aren't doing any better.

I know the sample size is way too small to say whether this is just a freak year or not, but I haven't seen anything like this in 5+ years of playing OOTP....

Mets real life DL. Certainly version 9 had less injuries so you might want to tone them down a bit on your import.

I actually just changed my injury frequency to high and I seem to be getting less injuries than I did at Normal.

Hmmmm...

I'll sim a bit longer to get a better feeling, as I said it may well be just a freak stat or maybe it really is just that I am pampered by OOTP9

As for how the number of injuries compare to RL.....I know there are a lot of injuries in reality as well, what startles me about the injuries I have seen in OOTP10 so far is that there are so many long injuries in such a short time. Anyway it's just a first impression so as I said I may be wrong...

Just to re-iterate something that i said earlier, I'm not sure that the OF assist rate thing is a fluke. I've seen another 3-5 in the next four games that I played. I think I've seen something like 6 or 7 OF assists in my first five and a half games, which seems way high. I've also seen three 1B drop routine throws to them, which seems like a very rare error for a 1B (definitely not something that should be happening three times in six games.)

(Just a follow-up, perhaps it could still be a longer term fluky thing. I suppose I'll have to play out a couple of months before I can say for sure that those things are happening at ridiculous rates.)

I was under the impression that the injury frequency went up, but the duration of these injuries went down. Like those 12 month injuries to an OF for back spasms...

Thanks. Read that list of yours and you will note that almost all of these injuries are of the 2-4 week variety. Very few players listed there are expected to miss more than a month of play.

By comparison on my DL list only 2 players will miss less than a month. So while the number of injuries looks about right the number of severe injuries still seems odd to me.

There are 25 significant injuries in MLB right now. Some teams already have 2 SEI.

Don't know if anyone has noticed this or if it's been mentioned, or if this is even something that has actually changed from OOTP9 to OOTPX, but I've noticed a few great changes in AI.

1. If I click "Ask AI to set up complete Organiation, lineups, etc." it used to designate like 8 guys for assignment everytime. This always pissed me off because I would constantly get updates about someone's DFA time being up and I'd have to change that. It doesn't seem to really happen that much anymore.

2. The last game I was playing in OOTP9 if I starting pitcher got injured and I asked the AI to reset the rotation they'd always throw some terrible starter into the rotation or just the middle reliever with the best stamina or whatever. Now it doesn't seem to do that and the AI just went with a 4-man rotation for me. I've never seen that before.

Once again, I never saw these things happen in past versions of OOTP, though I could be wrong.
