My guess as to the author of the date: boomboom.

He's a Moguler and OOTPer, and, I just so happen to know, from mostly having been a Moguler, as well, that he lives in Washington state.

I voted tuesday BUT....... if i were Markus.....with all the people saying the game will be released on May 31 at 23:59:59 because he once said the game will be out in May i'd release the game in that moment....

I am holding out hope that wiki was right that the game would be out June 2nd. So that the preorder could be downloaded today.

I'd imagine that, if pre-orders were going to be available today, we'd know about it already.

My guesses, in order: Wednesday, Friday, Tomorrow.
My preferences, in order: Friday, Wednesday, Tomorrow.

In the past Markus has worked on the game until the very last moment and released it in the morning hours PDT so there is still hope for a sunday early release.

But seriously, what time is it Markus time? ~4:30 pm? I'd imagine if it'd be released today, it'd be in the next few hours. That way he could lurk and make sure everything was going smoothly, then hit the sack. It beats putting it up at 11:30 pm at night, going to bed, and waking up to hoping that everything went smoothly.

I really hope it's today, that way I can play around with it this weekend, and determine whether it consumes enough of my life to postpone buying The Sims 3 for a bit.

(Does that make me less of a man?)

Like so many others though, exams begin for me this Friday, and continue all through next week, so I might have to use my approach which has gotten me through college so far...

Read a chapter, play an inning. Read a chapter, play an inning. etc.
