The criticisms are too abstract (beyond the injury affects development meme) to be of any real help to Markus.

I don't doubt that you are onto something (as I agree there are numerous problems), but you'll only win people over with some specific examples (even screenshots?) and articulate explanations of what you find problematic about the finacial and developmental engines. You've got a few quips and anecdotal complaints, but that can be found everywhere on this board.

byto?

The post was not intended for Markus, he already has detailed descriptions of the issues mentioned here. The post was an encouragement for OOTP users to talk about how some of the issues could be improved. Often you need a large group of users behind an idea before any change makes it into the game, but my attempt at getting users on board the "how-can-we-make-OOTP-better" train obviously failed miserably. Maybe more concise & blunt posts would work better, something like "Draft pick trading = broken, fix now".

I liked this thread, but I have to agree that this probably would have gotten a better response.

Until we get some sort of video representation of the game, even something as simple as Sega Genesis' Triple Play Baseball (Yes, I'm that old), OOTP will rate a 9 out of 10.

The only sports simulation game to ever get a 10 out of 10 on the
Arlie Latham scale?

Why, Tennis Critters, of course.

The cleverness was appreciated. I think this community is broken, but it'd be nice to come up with some consolidated efforts before we start quibbling with the programmers.
