League Of Baseball ( New Sim )

Hello, League Of Baseball is a new ootp 9 sim that will be starting end of May.

League Date :4/01/2009
Rating System : 1-10

1. We are going to strive to be the most realistic sim in the OOTP world. A lot of GM's forget that OOTP is not another word for " Yahoo fantasy baseball " Be patient with your team and make trade that make SENSE , not just out of boredom ! Their are SO many other things that you can do with your team to help rather then trade trade trade .

2. I am going to strive to be the best Commish I possibley can be. I promise to have sims and files uploaded on time. I promise to be fair and help grow our league to make it something that you want to involve yourself in every day when you have the time. GM's whom show barely any interest will be replaced with ones whom love the feeling of having their own franchises. I know not everyone can give the league their attention every day , but please be active when you can be !

3. The winner of the World Series will win a prize , yes a prize. Be it a cash reward , sports apparel , tickets , trophy. I feel if we all have something be it little to strive for and to win, it will make us all be a little more active !

4. We are all here to have fun and be fair and respect one another. Please keep that in mind !

I know you said it would be an OOTP 9 league, but do you plan on migrating to OOTP X? I could get myself and 2 other people to join the league, but I am the only one with OOTP 9. The other 2 guys have OOTP X preordered so obviously they are looking for a OOTP X league.

Let me know because if you plan on moving to OOTP X when it is released (or shortly after) I would take the White Sox, one guy would take the Cardinals, and I could find out what other team the third guy would want (I think Red Sox would most likely be first choice but they are taken).

hey guys , I am sure down the road it will become a ootp 10 league , but as of right now we are starting with 9 .

I always like waiting for the first patch of a new series because that usually works out the kinks in the first version as to why I am starting this league with ootp 9 .

I'd like to join the league. I'm sick of fantasy baseball and I have been playing OOTP solo now for a few months. I really want to test my skills against other GMs. I'd like to take the Giants if they are available. I filled out an application on your website too.

no no , had a close personal issue to deal with.

I sent everyone a league wide email today.

Nothing is dead and very sorry for my absence with the league.

In the week I was gone, we filled a few more teams.

So far from a brief look here is what we have left.
