How many versions do you have on your computer?

I had 6.5 on my computer up til recently and I am playing 9 and have purchased 10. How many version are currently on your computer?

Due to disc space, none. I deleted 9 to make room for 10.

Yeah, I deleted 2007 as soon as I got 9.

I'll have to keep 9 for a while though, until my online leagues switch over to 10.

Just OOTP9. I still have my download codes for every version since OOTP4, but I don't see a need to keep the games.

6, 6.5, 2007, and 9, although I remember playing the series as long ago as 4.

I think I had a different computer for 4 and 5, though, and just never bothered to redownload those.

4,5,6.5,2007

The only one I have deleted is 2006.

The only reason why I deleted that one is that it is the only version that I don't have a league in.

Just Version 9. I kept 2006 until the second patch for 9 was released, at which time it was no longer necessary. 2007 went out the minute Version 9 was released, as that was the real dog in the series (for Macs).

I usually just go with the latest version. I keep the previous one only until any online leagues I'm in have switched.

I had the old freeware version for a couple of years but deleted it when I got 8 last year. Once I get 10 (preordered it.. apparently it will be out coinciding with start of MLB season ) Ill back up 8 on DVD after importing it into 10.

With sports sims/games I rarely have more than the newest version I own on it. For a few war games I won I might have 2 or 3 different ones.. and even then I might just save 'saved games' and reload around it when I want to finish.

As mentioned by a previous poster, disk space is limited with digital pictures and transfers from the hard drive camcorder still in editing mode!! Plus my 15 year old daughter has a digicam and like all of her freinds it seems has well over 1000 (Honestly I believe over 2000) pics sitting there. When I tell her to bakc them up, well.... enough of havogn a teenager in the house.

I have tended to do this as well and when I say this, I mean actually discarding the prior versions. I have stopped this practice for several reasons:
  1. I am kicking my own behind for discarding 6.5. I could have kept and played that occasionally as OOTP Lite.
  2. While I have no feelings for OOTP 2006 and OOTP 2007/8, both of which were left with significant flaws IMO, OOTP 9 is the first version since 6.5 that I felt was finished and complete.
  3. While researching potential online leagues to join, I noticed some were still using and requiring OOTP 2007/8 and I have heard of others still playing 6.5 and earlier. If I had kept those games, I might have more opportunities to choose from.

How can you actually discard a version though? You can always download it again and use your elicense key after the reinstall.

Hmm. Still have 6.5, 2007 and, of course 9. But, will delete 2007 right away and most likely 9 later, after I get 10.

I have been buying OOTP versions since It came out as Season Ticket Baseball 2003 -- Which I believe was OOTP3 ?

Have had a couple of hard drive crashes - and have been able to get most of the game files.

Had some problems with 6.5 and back working on Vista but i have two computers Vista and XP.
