Hey, when i load your saved game it automatically makes me a commissioner. Is there anyway to turn that off? Id like to be just a manager and only be able to apply for jobs that are offered. Not any job i want. Is there any way to do this and use real rosters?

Iv'e seen when the Red Sox's activated a Outfielder they sent down LF Jason Bay and kept up a Outfielder with a Overall and Potential Rating of 21.

Just a couple of questions.

1) I note that your player ageing/development factors are different to Skydog's recommended. Are these your own or just some OOTP default?

2) I note that your player creation modifiers are different to DarkCloud's recommended. Are these your own or just some OOTP default?

Just trying to understand whether I should make the changes suggested by Skydog and Darkcloud.

I am playing with Cubby's pack and after each game it adjusts my roster for me. Calling up guys I do not want and sending down and placing on waivers my starters. I am set in manager controls to be the only one to make changes. Can anyone help?

go to your team, then options and colors...there should be a click box to do not allow AI control

Thank you. I have two more problems.

1. I cannot get it to go into one pitch mode when playing a game.

2. Rule 5 Draft is greyed out and I am unable to change.

Chatted with Cubbyfan offline and he recommends Skydog/Darkcloud settings if anyone else is interested in this.

I was playing with Cubby's roster set (great work by the way) when everything went haywire on 5-17-2009. When I loaded the saved game, all the rosters were completely filled with fictional players. The real players were still searchable, but when I clicked on the names, a different (fictional) player came up. All my stats and box scores and data were still on the team screens, except for the box score from the final game I played. I remember after I played this game, I found it odd there was no box score, but everything saved just fine. After seeing the jumbled rosters, I tried closing the game without saving, and re-loading it, but I got the exact same bizarre rosters.

Basically, the game is completely messed up. Unfortunately, I never created a backup file and saved my games repeatedly under the same name. Is there any way to salvage this without a inventing a time machine? Access an older version of the game? This sucks...I recall something similar happening with an older OOTP version a few years ago. Any input greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for all of your hard work. You definitely make a difference for me playing this game. I love the updated rosters and minor leagues, especially waiting for the next version of the game to be released.

I have downloaded twice now but keep getting a "could not load world file" error. Is there something specific I need to do? I have it in my saved games folder and all, so I know that part is correct.

Great roster set. I would like to use this set as a basis for a draft. Does anyone know how I can do that? I can't release/draft because the date is already in the regular season.

I've really enjoyed this roster set, and I"m now in 2011. Played every game, micromanaged my team, it's been THE way I've played OOTP9.

A disturbing trend that I"m seeing, not so much in the majors, but in the minors; Pitching is destroying. In about 4-5 of the minor leagues there isn't even a batter with an OPS over .800. Power is down bigtime. I haven't touched modifiers at all, but this is concerning me and makes it weird trying to call people up from the minors.

Anyone else seeing this or have any suggestions?
