OOTP exe problem
I have a Pent3, 866...212(?)of ram..with windows ME...
Bought the game and love it, played a season with the fictional characters..I bought the game Sunday so I assume I don't need a patch. Downloaded Gforce 2002, wow..what a great thing However when I do any mouse click, like trying to pitch...look at my personal life etc.. The program closes...sighting the ootp.exe has caused the program to close, if this continues restart your computer. This happens everytime when using the new rosters....only.. When I created the folder and did the cut a paste...there remained a zip file... THis is all I know, any help would be greatly appreciated... Sounds like something in the imported leage is slamming this thing....I must play with the real players... |

Did you UNZIP the league file into a folder? The folder MUST have ".lg" on the end of whatever you named it.

Yes, tigerball.lg
Everything looks and feels perfect until you click the mouse...the error message is imediate..no delay or hesitation....but the little grey box with the message stays up and the progam closes so quickly....rather strange
In the folder that I cut and paste and created I see mainly data files...one read me(i think) and one winzip thinggy...I wonder if I should unzip it? Thanks |

You need to unzip everything into a folder with an ".lg" extension on the folder.
