Question about release

So as I patiently wait for the release of OOTP 10 after buckling and pre-ordering the game even though I told myself I would wait for it, I was thinking not so much about what day it would come out, but more about what time? I realize the company is based in Germany, or I would assume so since Markus is from there and the mailing address contact info is for there. So I guess what I am getting at is, when the day does come, and us pre-order people are looking to start downloading the game, would the release be set for something like say 10:00 AM Germany time? I am just thinking in general like game store times, like Gamestop gets their games at like 10:00 -11:00 AM or something off the truck for instance around. I think that is somewhat common in the Illinois/Wisconsin region so I think possibly the same around the US.

Like many others I am sure of, I check my email many times a day hoping for that confirmation letter saying its available for download. I am just curious I guess to what the general time frame the game had be released in the past? As I look forward to downloading it upon release and playing I was just wondering if I would be finding the game released some time during the day, rather than worrying that it might come out sometime in the middle of the night and I would miss playing it that day

Honestly it wouldn't really matter what time it is released to me, I guess I just wanted a time frame to check my emails from people's past experiences. Eh I guess its kind of a broad, different release time question, but I was just curious while I was browsing the forums.

At the end of every workday for the last six weeks I have left the office coughing and saying "If this doesn't clear up I might have to take tomorrow off." I think they are starting to think I might be faking (or carrying the swine flu.)

I'm more interested in learning how the release is going to be handled this year. Last year was a mess. Everyone was trying to download it from the same place and it was SLOWWWWWWW... Forums were in an uproar, etc...

I'm just hoping it's in time for Memorial Day weekend.

I'm going to be PISSED if I have a whole 4-day weekend and then OOTPX comes out the next week.

Now that's admirable dedication.

Now haven't you ever heard of Murphy's Law? Murphy would expect the game's release to be early in the morning of the day right after Memorial Day weekend.

Especially if you have to show up that day to collect the holiday pay.

But of course. And when you got home your Internet connection would be down.
