Various things heard from coaches and players over the past few weeks:
"I need you to cheat on that tight end a little bit." "Watch the crack block!" (common term, but always sounded a little dirty to me) "I used to be a tight end, but now I guess I'm a wide receiver." And we run a delay blitz with our outside linebackers called "Ears", so that leaves the most classic line of them all from our defensive coordinator, "You can't come on the ears too fast, but when you do, you have got to come hard!" |

"He's got a very powerful stroke..."
"He really whacked that..." "Gretzky is the best when he's working from behind..." "Cabrera deep in the hole..." "From his knees..." "He fisted that one..." (on a balk) "he went to his mouth..." (on an error) "what a boner!"

I play slow pitch softball on a team with two of my brothers. My brother Todd never played a whole lot of baseball growing up but has turned into a pretty good softball player in his first year so far. Anyways, during one of our first practices for this year, we were out shagging fly balls ("shagging", another dirty one) and he made the comment, "Take everything that you hear out here and pretend its a sexual comment."
Needless to say, the rest of the practice we were laughing pretty good like 13-year old kids watching the Man Show.

"Sumo Wrestling," even though it only sounds dirty after looking at pictures of it.

I've heard this one in basketball quite a bit:
"He's going to the bench for a blow" |
