I emailed as Jeremy. I'd love to get in this if any teams are left. I did see on the web site that the Rockies are still "?", so I'd take them if open (from Denver!).

If the first post of this thread is accurate, I'd be interested in taking on the Florida Marlins. I've been in multiple OOTP leagues before (unfortunately they died) and used to run a High Heat based league, so I'm experienced and active. I'd be happy to join.

I don't think that there are MLB teams left, but our commish did a very cool thing and made an independent league for people to play in as a waiting list type of thing. I believe there is seven teams open in that league. Very active league. Visit the site.

team

Should I email the commish to ask to join the independent league? I tried to get on the forums but I need an account first, so I thought I'd ask.

Apologies kids -- been away on vaca for the last week. We have opened an Independent League with 100% real rosters from the Atlantic League (where Rickey Henderson, Jose Canseco, etc. played) and are taking owners now as a part of the waiting list. Owners will be able to run an ALPB team while getting to know all of the owners and our rules for the major leagues, and will be able to jump to the majors the minute a team opens and they're top on the waiting list.

If anyone is interested, feel free to either register on our boards and send me a PM (easiest way) or send me an email at commissioner@nibababaseball.com.

You can check out our website here:

Recently revamped by our new Dodger owner, I think it looks great.

Wanted to bump this. The league Cubby runs is the best league i have ever been a part of. A real good group of active owners. I dont think Cubby sleeps as he's always adding to the league. We have the Atlantic league going as a waiting list for owners to get accustomed with the rulesas you wait to get into the Majors with a team. You run your own Atlantic league team, have full access to our Major league free agents and have Major league teams bid for your players that are doing well. The owner of the Ducks just signed the recently released Paul Byrd. Its a great setup. Its a full working Baseball universe. I highly reccommend this league to anyone looking to join,. I see this league lasting for a long time!!!

Alright... we've hit the amateur draft (comprised of real players of course! ) and so I'm going to open a few teams up to new ownership. I've almost exhausted the waiting list, so if you're interested in joining, please either email me, drop me a PM on our boards (NIBA Homepage - Login) or catch me on IM at CubbyFaithful23.

IM is the easiest way to get in touch.
