How do you fix Catchers Doubles?

I'm sure most of you are aware of the catchers brilliant doubles situation. I am curious on how you fix it? Obviously, you can't make every catcher average, because some really do have good/brilliant doubles. Any suggestions/ideas?

Make say 5% brilliant, 10% good, and make the rest whatever?

Yeah, but how do you determine who gets what for doubles?

I remember playing SSI baseball on my commodore 64.....all the catchers there were awesome at hitting doubles too....even butch wynegar. Had a similar problem with Tony LaRussa baseball too.....baseball games have a thing for catchers and doubles....it's like peaches and cream...they just seem to go together....

I'd be happy for a single with my catcher, let alone a double. Matheny is hitting .136 through 18 games. Pathetic.

I have six catchers in my organization (spread thru my team and the minors)....4 of them have an "8" for doubles, 1 has a "7" and the other one I forget but I think it is like a "4" or "5." But, my starting catcher, Allen Grace....rides .200 like a seesaw....he currently has 24 hits....13 of them are doubles....I piss my pants laughing each time he its the ball...hee hee. He has a "avg" rating of 3.
