It is happenign to 1-3 players a year now, position players too, I have lost track of some of them, I just delete them or trade them away when they wont play anymore.

Two good example players

FL Marlins SP N. Frazier, he stoped playing for me is 2017, but has been flordias # 1 for 3 0r 4 years and has not thrown a pitch.

I just traded away L. Madrigl to Houston because I couldn't get him to pitch in the majors or Minors.

There are others, but thoise two are good examples.

Thanks for any help, It is getting annoying to have to check every week if a player stopped playing, then have to find a replacement.

I'm sorry, Dan, but I don't know what the problem is if these players weren't set to be retired.

Is this hapening to anyone else, I can't imagine I am the only one. There are now 4 0r 5 FAs who everyone is bidding on who have not played is a few years, will sign hugh contracts, and not play for their new teams, one was 23 when he stopped playing so I have to deal with this for 10-15 seasons, any suggestions would be great.

Ok, when I manage the game myself with the rotation set for the non-playing player, he is not there as my SP, but if I force him he pitches, Why would that be??? Any thoughts?

This is the same for computer controlled teams

I agree with Nutlaw this is tough to figure out. If you can make them play but they don't for the AI it certainly suggests that the AI can't "see" them.

Have you done anything out of the ordinary in this league? Have you edited any players? Did you edit an old player to be younger? Have you changed any of the player development settings? Player creation settings? Do the players have any individual strategy settings that may be out of whack? For example setting a low pitch count can affect pitcher usage.

Sorry but that's all I can think of.

Yes, I am playing in Commish mode, but I do little edditing, I have not changed the age of any player, I have not edited the players affected shortly before they stop playing, I let my manager handle all hte d2d stuff like pitch count. Players individual strategy setting are in the middle or close to it.

Also, yeah the computer can't see them, wheather they are on my team or a comp controlled team.

I just tried retiring a few of them, then un-retiring them, they became FAs, were signed, and are currently on teams 25 man's but not playing, one is in the #1 Starter slot but isn't pitching.

A reinstall did not fix this problem!
