Comparing London Prize Rig Rules fighters with Marquis of Queensbury Rules fighters is like comparing apples and oranges. Bare knuckle boxing is to gloved boxing as mixed martial arts is. Still, an effort can be made. Some of these ratings are my revisions of fighters already in the data base. It is my own personal opinion that the old timers are overrated. If you are interested I wrote an article a few years back that is still on the internet titled "Pugilism in the Civil War'. Google that if you want to read what a London Ring Rules bout was like.
