Why do jerseys never work for me???

Ok, I'm just so tired of trying. I extract the jerseys, with hats, logos, and whatever else comes into the file, but when I go to look at the jersey, it is 100% accurate EXCEPT for the fact that the jersey itself is blank.

There IS a jersey logo loaded but the jersey, Detroit in this case, is completely blank. Everything else seems to work by just dropping the items into their proper folders.

Could someone walk me through this from start to finish? I'm usually ok with mods but I really need step-by-step assistance before I pull my hair out!

Also, since this will be my next problem:

This used to also always work no prob in earlier editions of OOTP. I have my ballpark logos but isn't there usually a file included which moves around the player icons so that they match the picture? It seems these icon/boxes are not being updated.

Also, has a 2009 team logo/jersey set or a 2009 ballpark set been created? I searched but didn't see it but wasn't sure if it could be someplace else.

(assuming your directory is saved as default of what OOTP sets up.)

Put Jerseys in:
Documents/OOTP Developments/OOTP Baseball 9/jerseys

Caps:

Documents/OOTP Developments/OOTP Baseball 9/caps

Logos:

Documents/OOTP Developments/OOTP Baseball 9/logos

Go to Player and Picture Options in Game Setup and reset all Caps logo and Jerseys logo......

Then you either need to update each team member pics inside of edit team colors, logos, and uniforms OR

Force update all player Pictures in game setup. (using this option may take a while, updating all the pics in your game.

T wil,

That worked great! The only problem I see now is that the jerseys are still blank. For instance, Detroit just has an all white jersey without the old english "D."

There is a jersey logo properly showing in the edit screen but the jersey itself remains white on both the edit screen and any player wearing the jersey.

One step away. Again, along with the pitching I am really trying to focus on making the game user-friendly so that it is more "out of the box" ready for MLB play.

Make Sure there isn't a space after detroit or tigers in league setup.

What I usually do is go to the white jersey for the Detroit in the jerseys folder copy the name.

Delete the white jersey and paste the name on the jersey with you want to use for detriot.

Did you try clicking on the regenerate button next to the full jersey image.. this should recreate the jersey with the jersey logo you imported.

No extra spaces anywhere in league setup. Not sure what you really mean by copying etc...don't quite follow your wording.

Ok that did it. Is there a way for this to "auto" as I would hate to have to do it for each team in the database!

Thanks so much!

Pardon me for a newb question, but where are jerseys displayed in the game? I see tiny ballplayers on the BNN Broadcast View, but nothing larger than that.

There isn't a way to automate this that I can recall.

The jersey's are on the player screens and on the broadcast view. Under the Game Setup, picture options you can select the zoom to control how much of the jersey is shown.

You can see the full jersey from each teams home page, where it allows you to edit team information. There will be a button to allow you to edit team colors, jersey, etc.

Hope this helps
