Recently Drafted Players Accruing MLB Service Time

Long title, sorry guys.

Here is the story: Online league. OOTP9, fully patched. 2012 Season. Our draft date is June 15th. It is currently July 30th. 45 Days between draft and current date.
For the mostpart, all of the players drafted in our current seasons amateur draft, have 50 or 60 days of MLB service time.
I don't believe any of them have been called up. I can confirm my top 2 picks have certainly not, but they have 60 and 50 days of MLB Service time this year. However, it also saying 0 years and 0 days of Major League Service. I sampled 30 players from the draft, with 27 of them having this problem.

Is there an easy fix? Is there a reason this is happening? Has anyone else ever experienced this issue?

Below are the details of one of my players as an example (Bolded is the need to know). This is a league wide problem.

Huh. Well now that's odd. It shouldn't actually harm anything since these draftees wouldn't be able to reach a full year of major league service anyway, but it's definitely something that shouldn't be happening. I don't suppose that you have a backup from before your draft to see if these guys had service time this year before being selected?

I checked two of my leagues and do not see this behavior (one was before the year's draft and one was after). In the in-game Player Profile (not the HTML version), click on the Contract & Status button and let us know what some of these guys have down for "Time as a Professional", if you could please.

To clarify my above post, major league service time this year is only a counter to make sure that a player doesn't accrue more than one year's worth of service in a season. As long as your players' major league service time counter is still at zero, there shouldn't be any harm to it.

That is good to know, which actually makes sense. Thanks Nutlaw. I'll post about what it says in game tomorrow as I'm just about to head out.

As for the service time before the draft, I feel like I remember seeing that they did have some. I could be wrong. I do think I have a backup though, so I'll also check back on that tomorrow.

Thanks again.
