Talent only in a solo league

Anyone have experience with doing this successfully? I'd like to play this way, with scouts offs, but I'm concerned about the AI's ability to evaluate talent properly. Would it be best to set the AI Player Evaluation Options to 0% Ratings, 66% Current Year Stats, 33% Previous Year Stats, 1% 2 Years Ago Stats maybe?

Pretty sure the AI still "sees" the ratings in a talent only league.

Could someone explain to me what a "talent Only" league is?

It is a league where the "ratings" displayed for players are set to None. As a result you only see the talents.

Thanks, Scott...

So I guess you do not see potential either. It means that as a manager I ask my scout to produce talent numbers but don't interpret those numbers. Do the potential talent numbers in parenthesis still show up?

Talent/Potential both refer to the same thing.

You can choose to turn ratings off and have only talent displayed, or you could turn both off if you just want to use stats.

'Talent' is what 'potential' was called up through version 6.51. It became potential in version 2006, but many of the long-time players ignore the change.
