Game crashes on 09/10/2010 every time

Version: 9.2.13
Roster: CubbyFans 2009 roster v1.4

The game will not get past the 09/10/2010 date and crashes every single time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I do not have any injured players or holes in the lineup.

The game also crashes if I go to look at Available Personnel and attempt to sort by clicking one of the headers (ie, Teach Hitting). The game will also crash if I select the drop down for Preferred Occupation and select something other than All Coaches.

I have tried every thing that I can think of and any help is appreciated. Let me know what else I can provide (info/data) that will be of help. Thanks!

Roster sets can tend to be trickier than most because there was a lot of editing behind them that you and I know nothing about.

Roster sets can also be very large and tax your computer. Which operating system are you using and how much RAM do you have? How many leagues are active in your saved game and how much history do they have?

It could very well be something related to the roster set. I am in my second year so that historical data is fairly minimal. I have MLB and 16 minor leagues going. I tried filling up all the minor leagues with fictional players but that does not stop the crash.

System: XP Pro w/ Core 2 @ 3.0GHZ and 2GB Ram. The HD has 140GB free so that cannot be it.

I should warn that Cubbyfan's roster set is still being worked on and has not been tested thoroughly by anyone.

Apply this file: coaches.dat to your directory and turn off coaches, that's the current fix until we can find a better solution.

I was having problems simming past Sept 7th (2nd year in) and your coaches.dat seems to have worked.

Saved me one hell of a mental breakdown.
