I'm also getting the crash in september of 2010. Frustrating because I actually put together a Giants team with a winning record!

Hey great roster set but I was just wondering if there is anyway I can upgrade the players in the draft to make them a little better?

yeah im having the same crash even after i generated new schedules for all minor league systems but my crash happened once in september and once in july but it seems like it only crashes when i actually play the whole season through because i have simulated all the way up to three years without doing any kind of moves or signings with new york just straight simulating and it goes just fine.

Do you guy's get past that crashing point eventually or does it keep crashing?

I'm eager to start a new game with this set, but reading al these messages about games crashing, i'm hesitant to start...

no i dont get past the crashes the only way is to start over but when you start another season it crashes at a dif point so i would hold off if i were you.

if i go back to a save game and try again it will always crash but at slightly different days. it will always be in september, though and it WILL crash.

If someone can actually get a copy of the file to save on the crash date, please PM me and we can figure out a way to get me the league files so I can check them out. I haven't had any problems yet and have been playing a few leagues.

I got the crash on 5/11/09... I went and deleted all (R) Rookie leagues. Started to sim again and so far, no crash. So it may have something to do with rookie leagues..

I don't know anything about the crashes (haven't played that far yet), but I've got a more complete list of erroneously retired players and players who have duplicates in the player file.

I hope this is helpful. I believe that the duplicate players is a complete list - the retired players isn't simply because I'm not sure which players have or haven't actually retired yet.

I was having the same crashing issue ( sometimes not all) but I when back and generated fictional schedule for all the minor leagues and I haven't had a crash since. I don't know if that is the reason for the crash or not but it did solve my problem. When it was crashing it did seem to happen while the game was simming the minor league games

I also deleted my rookie leagues and things seem to be working now. I was able to sim through the crash date (6 Sep 2010). Hopefully it will last, but it does seem the minor leagues cause the crash.
