They will not be included unless we decide to use them in expansion, and even then, expansion is not a 100% guarentee. And please, call me Mitchell
![]() Quick update... Puerto Rico, Grenada, and Jamaica have been taken. Bruce and I are taking the last two teams, so that leaves 7 spots open. Last edited by Picasso; 04-15-2003 at 08:15 PM. |

Be a part of Caribbean History........get in from the beginning and build your Champion from the ground up. Fictional Teams, fictional players.....no preconceived perceptions. Learn your players as they grow. If you enjoy micro-managing, this league is for you. We'll sim one day at a time. You control your match-ups game by game. |

Met Leagues
The Met League is a good league that sims 1 day at a time. I have not been in a league that sims 1 day at a time, but am very interested in it. I feel leagues that sim 2-3 weeks every 7 days, doesn't allow you to adjust your team for each game or series to match-up better with teams.
Just my thoughts... Your site is very nice. One thing though, the Cuba team has the Dominican Republic name and Logo. |

Just a quick note-
Yes, we are still simming 1 day everyday. I'm sorry if I might have confused any of you with the other posts. Puerto Rico, Aruba, Grenada, Cuba, and Jamaica have been taken. Bruce and I are taking the last two teams, so that leaves 5 spots open. |

Thanks for the nod on creating your league banner. It works well with your page and I wish you best of luck with your league!

This league looks great, but I thought you know that there are already at least 2 other CBL's. One's in my signature.

how long?
How long does it normally take to fill a league?
When I’ve recruited, I’ve picked up about one owner per day. (Glad to see things going well for the Caribbean League. )

Hey there boss,
How about getting some files for us to download that way we can look at the free agents and set up ideas for the upcoming draft. Woody

I'd be interested in taking Barbados if the team is still available. My email is draven085@yahoo.com.

Four spots remain, to take over the six remaining teams (Bruce and I will get the last two). They are as follows:
Cayman Islands Haiti Dominican Republic Guadeloupe St. Lucia Virgin Islands |

Re your post on the other board about the difficulty of getting owners... The idea of a Caribbean league is a good one, it could be that having a daily sim is what keeps many people from signing on just now.
The big issue I notice with so many commissioners posting here seems to be "participation." Some leagues that sim only 3x/week have trouble getting the degree of participation they would like. So, the idea of a daily sim and a possibly higher than usual participation requirement may scare some folks off. Maybe you should just get going with the owners you have and let the AI handle the other teams for now. And then, once the fun begins, your owners will spread the good word here and your remaining slots will fill up. Just my 2 francs.

I agree about the 3x per week might be scaring people off. Maybe, you should start with once per week, until people get used to it, then move it up. But, either way, I'm willing to help anyway I can.
