Looking at it, there are quite a few players who are retired and who shouldn't be. Many of those players have badly off ratings as well. A partial list:

Ross Detwiler
Billy Petrick
Hayden Penn
Jim Hoey
Tony Abreu
Davis Romero
Justin Maxwell
Tim Stauffer
Kevin Melillo
Abe Alvarez
Beltran Perez
Casey Janssen

Hey cubby i know you have sabathia rated at 4 and a half stars but the scouting reports say hes one of the worst pitchers in the league does that matter in terms of his stats at the end of the year or is he still a good starter.

Guys who pitched before 2008 and missed the '08 season were inadvertantly "retired" when we did this huge operation deleting the ghost leagues... if you see more, please post them. I'll unretire all of these guys.

Have you tried making your team head scout rescout the guy. Alot of times you have to rescout guys to get a better picture of how good they are.

I tried to follow the Demo directions, but I dont know how to open this a league. Can someone please give me directions on how to import this, and if I can still do it if it part of a larger league (With winter leauges...etc) I am very anxious to get started. Someone please help me out.

First step is to un zip the file. Once it is unzipped you need to move the unzipped folder to the next destination. Go to my documents, select ootp folder, then select the saved game folder and put your unzipped cubby folder into the saved game folder. Go to the start menu on the game and select load then select the file.

You can add other leagues into the league but it won't send mlb players there during the winter. It would be a league in its own.

Hey cubby i was wondering when the yankee history was going to be updated along with the player who are retired because for me thats whats holding me back from starting a new season. Also i was wondering if you could tell me how to do the history if ya need any help im always available to help out just let me know..

I got the rosters in and I noticed the Mets 3- A Ball teams have no players at all. When I tried the demo all the rosters were full. Does the A ball teams get filled random before the regular season starts? Or they just not used in this roster set?

Yankees history won't be fixed until we get into the set for OOTP10. Most of my work is going to be geared towards that for now.
