Long pauses during sim

The game seems to have long pauses during simming. It will sim through four or five days at a nice clip, then pause for 30-40 seconds and continue. I simmed for about 40 minutes and only got through July. Of one season.

How much RAM do you have? How many leagues and teams are in your saved game universe?

I have 2GB of RAM. I started with the standard 1 Major league and 13 minor leagues.

Are you running any other programs at the same time? If so, please try closing them.

Which version are you using? If not 9.2.13, could you try upgrading?

No other programs running and I am running the latest version.

Could you try creating a new fictional league and simming it ahead for a time to see if it is causing similar delays?

Your settings play a large part in sim speed. Take a look here:
