Any good fictional leagues alive? - Page 3

I've been playing around with some options for a league for a little bit now, I think the thing holding me back from getting anything off the ground is my lack of experience/knowledge of running a website...

I suppose one option could be All Sim Baseball, which I have been looking at.

If you guys want to try to get something rolling, I'm definitely interested.

if you WHBL guys do something, give me a call. i can't help with any technical stuff...but, every league needs a dullard!

Thanks for the plug Herb. I do need to get over here and advertise a little bit more as most of our owners are pulled from TSW. We have a waiting list of two or three now, but I'd be happy to add anyone if there is interest. The waiting list is at the bottom of the owners page.

Just to keep you guys updated....

Myself, Dan Hyde and my brother are in the process of getting a league going...We have a basic website going up and are playing around with different options/ideas for the league...

Once the website is more functionable, I'll give you guys a link and you can come poke around and toss some ideas at us if your still interested.

The League will be allowing owners to select their home city and nickname and we have begun allowing joining owners to do so...

I'm not ready to open up full blown recruiting just yet, because I wanted to give first dibs to the old WHBL players who had expressed interest.

Plus we are still in the testing/rule discussion phase...

But I wanted to let those of you interested come claim a team and get in on some discussion.

Front Office Offseason League is looking for a few owners. It's basically the sort of league for people who like solo play, but want to play against human owners. It's fun, doesn't take up much time at all (unless you want it to) and you don't have to have a ton of history to come in and play, we're all low-key and it's great fun, too.

Here's the waiting list.

The PCBL has a couple of recent openings. Reading the above posts, we started out in a similar fashion with owners picking their team cities/names/affiliates. It's a great league and has a very laid back feel to it. Entering our 7th season of Fictional Online Baseball!
