fictional location - data files

Is it possible and ok to insert fictional locations for a team into the :

a) weather
b) era_ballparks
c) cities

files, duplicating the data from another city?

Will the fictional city/location perform with regard to market size, etc. as the duplicated city?

for the era_ballparks, would a new entry be needed for each year as you progress through time?

i bet your answers are in there.

there are some really cool things you can do with these files, but as always...
wait for it... BACK UP YOUR DEFAULT FILES FIRST.
