Organization of the Tech Support posts...
Hi,
I just wanted to make a suggestion that could help new and experienced users as well. Instead of having a single thread for Tech Support perhaps OOTP Dev could organize into sub-lists. One each for platform specific issues related to Windows, Linux, Mac OS licensing, install and system related issues. And another area just for game play issues. Within gameplay issues it might also make sense to divide into two categories, Solo Play and Online League Play. I don't have any real issues at present but I do have the Windows and Linux versions and it would be nice to have an area where I wouldn't have to sift through the unrelated posts to find what I am looking for. Just a thought. Jeremy |

Thanks for the suggestion. Other than installation and licensing, we don't tend to see too many platform specific issues aside from the occasional graphical matter. As for solo and on-line play, much of those issues would overlap as well - certainly just about all of the solo league issues would show up in on-line leagues.
I suppose that the train of thought boils down to the fact that we'd rather not put issues someplace where they might be missed, even if it might mean a bit more clutter. |
