All I can do now is wish Tommy and his Stockholm's Finest squad a record setting performance against the Champions in the next match. That would help set the table when we meet the Champs in two weeks.

Not that I'm wishing any bad luck to Jeremy in the next match........just wishing lot's of luck to Tommy.

Great win for ya Scot..congrats,your boys seem to be putting it together.

Nice win by the Cornhuskers as well by the way Scot. Seems like they are about the only Big 12 team that has come to play thus far in the bowls.

Speaking of which I am sure you arent cheering to hard against me as we need to show them boys from the Gold conference just how tough we are in the CAUNT division
I actually saw parts of that game yesterday evening! Gator Bowl wasn't it? I'm not a big fan of Am.football and they rarely broadcast it in Sweden (When they do it is usually NFL). But as there was nothing of interest on TV yesterday evening I decided to give it a try. I saw their logo and immideately thought about the Cornjabbers.

I guess a congratulation is in place Scot.

Congrats on the win for both the Jabbers and the Huskers. The early talk on the Gator Bowl was that FSU was going to be there which I was really hoping for so that our teams got face off which I think would of been good times sadly it didn't happen.

Thanks Jeremy. It was nice to see the Cornhuskers win the way they did by using a lot of walk-ons. Looks like Pelini and company may be restoring a tradition that Callahan ruined in his 4 years at the helm.

And you're correct........even though I'd like to win the Caunt division, I can't root against you when facing a team from the Gold Conference.

Thanks Hugh. It does look promising right now for my squad. Still have 4 weeks to go and anything can happen.

I was hoping for that match-up as well. Maybe our teams will get back on track and meet up in the Orange Bowl like old times in the next season or two.

Thanks Tommy. Glad you tuned in even if it was for a short time. I made it to 3 games in person this season and two times, there were 3 people in attendence for the game that were from Sweden.

Charlotte Wendner from Bjarred, Sweden is currently a starter on Nebraska's Womens Golf team. She placed 2nd in the Big 12 championships the past season.

Ahh...to bad. That second half killed me. At least a couple of my guys advanced to prime. I have another hard match next week.

Anyway, congratulations on the win Jeremy and good luck with the rest of the season.

Hey Scot, if I wish Mary a belated Happy Birthday, will that help my chances this week? I'm back after a lot of traveling. My holiday highlight was a "dear Mike" letter I received on New Year's Eve! What was it Willie Pep said?

Oh no, now our goose is definitely cooked! Can we bounce back after the beating Bear's boys gave us?

Lee, have I told you yet what a great moderator you are? Scot, remember that I got my birthday wishes for your beautiful bride in before Lee did, and just need the address in order to send her a very nice gift card ($$$)!

I'll see what I can do.

It is unseasonably warm in my part of the woods so I'm enjoying the outdoors today. Results to come later tonight.

My wife says thank you. She can't believe a bunch of boxing thugs can take time away from boxing to think of someones birthday.

I'll be back to posting results when the sun goes down. While you wait, a look inside at one of the matches coming up. There is a huge upset in the Bears Unstable/Juggernaut match. (The Golden Boy is leading the way)

I don't know if I like the sound of this huge upset teaser.

Joey "Golden Boy" DeJohn ends the longest reign for a champion in any of the weight classes in UTBA II history.

DeJohn survived an 8 count in the first round and knocked Belloise unconscious in the second.

DeJohn repeated the performance in his first title defense by surviving a 9 count in round 3 and knocking Eduardo Lausse out cold in the 4th.

Coming away with an individual championship is nice, but another disappointing loss. The better team came out on top. Juggernaut will need some restructuring in the near future.
