"Unknown" Player stuck on 40 man roster

Hi there. I'm in an online league. I have a player called Joe Unknown. He's listed as a MR on my 40 man roster and is on a rookie league team from another organization. Which makes it so I can't control him. I can't get him off my 40 man roster. My commish has tried to take him off as well. He won't go away. Since I can't control him, I can't put him on waivers at all, but like I said my commish can't either. Any advice on how to fix this? Thank you. We play on ootp 9 and I'm on a mac. Thank you. Peace. I've seen this before when I move players from team to team. Have the commish go into the editor, edit Joe's team to yours, release him and manually put him back where he belongs and you should be ok.
