It's in Preferences (Game, OOTP Preferences). Under Lists, select Scroll Bars. However, realize that if a list is too long (I think the cutoff is 1,000 players), then the game defaults to Page Selectors anyway.

I have noticed this happen too, and with many names less than 1000, at least with the current filter applied. Maybe the game decides to list it page by page before it checks the filter. Either way it is annoying that it does not go by what I set in my preferences. If the game can't handle a scroll (or doesn't want to handle it) it should say so in the manual and/or the in game description of the feature.
I am not sure if this has ever been reported as a bug, too lazy to search for it. |
