Round 2
And the bell goes for Round 2. Bowe has been given some advice by his corner to take the fight to Johnson but lets see if he can implement it!
Johnson slips out of a corner as Bowe attempts to trap him.... Johnson is using his legs to avoid Bowes punches. Johnson is moving from side to side as he should be doing rather than straight back. Johnson has just taken a hard combination from Bowe and he looks to be in big trouble.... Johnson land a nice jab and tries to follow it up with a cross but misses. Bowe is jockeying for position as he tries to back Johnson into the corner. The actions slows for a moment. Both fighters are bumping heads as they wrestle on the inside. Bowe land a short uppercut to Johnsons chin. Johnsons corner are shouting at him to stay off the ropes. Johnson smothers Bowes attack as Bowe tries to get off some shots on the inside.... Johnson fires a shot but it glances off Bowes shoulder. Both fighters move to ring centre. Watch Johnson move...he is darting in and out keeping Bowe off balance. And the bell ends Round 2 |

The blood is trickling down his face and following a path down his nose and around his lip but does not appear to be getting into his eye at this point Bowe is cut after an accidental headbutt Some good body work by Bowe but not much on those punches Bowe works free and the fighters move to ring centre Johnson whiffs with the jab Theres a straight right by Bowe! Bowe has Johnson in trouble - he is hurt and trying to hang on! Johnson made Bowe look foolish just there as he dodged his punches. Bowe would have more luck pursuing a greased pig Johnson flicks a lead right to the head of Bowe Bowe is clinching Field breaks them up and the bell rings to signal the end of Round 4 |

Unofficial Score After 5 Rounds
According to our expert Mike Hansen, Riddick Bowe leads by one point (48-47), having won Rounds 2 through 4. Jack Johnson has won Rounds 1 and 5. But if his display in Round 5 is anything to go by, anything can happen!

Joe Louis v. Jack Johnson
Joe Louis was left standing due to the faster speed and dexterity of his opponent.
The first winner by unanimous decision of the All-Time Heavweight Championship of the World is..... JAAAAAACK JOHNSON! |
