Congrats to the Phillies and their fans.

Fallshirmjager, I would love to hear how you felt about last years Yankees vs Indians bug game. Too me that was much worse than what happened Monday.

They were showing the Comcast SportsNet feed of the fans going haywire for the camera. I'm still waiting for a gal to show her cans.

Fox 5 News showed the bar Plum Crazy in Pacific Beach and it was crazy. I should have gone there tonight. Didn't even think of it. Oh well.

I enjoyed the series, even with the rain delay debacle. Gratz to the Phillies...

What really topped it off for me was Fox played Harry Kalas' radio broadcast of the last pitch and it gave me chills.

I had been searching online during game 1 to see if I could find streaming audio of Harry Kalas instead of listening to Buck & McCarver.

I found the call on the internet:

Congratulations to the Phillies. Recently it has been heartening to see teams, with long standing WS frustrations, win the big one.

With everyone saying the coincidence of winning in '80 and now '08, I certainly hope we don't have to wait another 72 years until they win again.

http://philliesnation.com has mp3 audio clips of some of the calls in the postseason this year. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns up there soon.

Their website is down right now. Not too surprising considering what took place tonight.

I have no hate for Joe Carter and the 93 Phillies will always have a special place in my heart. But no one gives a **** about 1993 right now because tonight we are celebrating a World Series Championship!

Congrats to all my fellow Phillies fans!
