That is the World Series I was hoping for. Followed by Dodgers-Rays. Than White Sox-Cubs. Followed by what we got -- Phillies-Rays. Last choice was going to be the colonial series, patriotic series, etc. -- Red Sox-Phillies.

I'll be pulling for the Rays, but won't be unhappy to see the Phillies finally win one.

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

Agreed. Congrads to the Rays for making it to the World Series in their first winning season and congrads to the Red Sox for a series well played. It was almost deja vu all over again.

Signed

Garza and Price threw their butts off last night. The Rays showed a lot of character coming back to win the series after that game 5 disaster.

It's the craziest damn thing ever. I mean, the Rays in the World Series?! Awesome, just awesome.

After game 5, I thought it was all going to fall apart - but just about every time I've thought that this year they've come back even stronger. Its unbelieveable. Matt Garza was almost ridiculously good last night - just a completely different pitcher than the start of the year. And David Price coming out of the 'pen... how can someone who started the year in A-ball come in in that situation and be that calm? But the biggest thing last night for me was Rocco Baldelli getting what turned out to be the game-winning RBI. That's a story that everybody's got to feel good about.

I'm completely knackered from staying up to watch last night's game, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep between now and Wednesday night, I'm that excited.

Very good baseball last night in the final game. Price should have started the 8th,Felt like they got away with a mistake there. You go with that many guys in one inning you might catch one that's having a bad night. You gotta bring your best stuff in game like that for two or three innings if need be late in game 7's.

I'd expect Price to be the "closer" during the World Series. He definately showed he can handle it.

Congratulations, English_Ray.

I really admire the way the Rays handled the pressure after the game 5.
The young Rays team reminded me again of the fact that the pitching wins the baseball games. Your pitching staff totally overpowered us.

Looking forward to the next season.
I can not imagine what AL-East race will be like next year!
