Picture help

Guys, I joined a league , in their website they had player pics to download. I did that and extracted (I think correctly, because when I exited game it auto saved saving "faces", then when I opened my particular game I uploaded to, loading stopped at 22%. and it took over 3 hours to load. now it "only" takes 15 minutes to load; but the problem I have, I dont know how to make settings in game to show "real" player faces on my. I generated new faces, ootp took 3 hours to do that from the games picture screen. Now when I click on a player expecting to see his "real" face all I see is a fictional face. I'm playin the new mlb game with the modern players. My players faces I downloaded had tons of pictures for tons of players modern leaguers and all; yet I only get fictional faces. what am I doing wrong?

It could be a number of things:

• the format of the pictures is wrong
• the location of the pictures is wrong
• there is no match between player names and picture file names
