I downloaded the patch only (not the full version), and when I opened the ZIP file, there were several other files in the ZIP along with the new .exe file:

ootp9.exe.manifest
Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest
msvcm90.dll
msvcp90.dll
msvcr90.dll

The instructions only refer to moving the new .exe file over -- what do I do with the rest of these things?

Thanks!

Never mind. Apparently, the secret additional instructions are to copy everything into the installation folder.

Before trying this, the game simply wouldn't open. Since moving all the files from the ZIP into the installation folder, the game opens.

If that's NOT actually what you're supposed to do, someone please let me know.

This problem doesn't seem to be going away. The game runs great, just takes a lot longer to load it up.

Please try this .exe here and unzip it into your OOTP 9 program folder, replacing the other .exe: http://www.ootpdevfiles.com/ootp/ootp9_pre_XP.zip

A little more info, this seems to be a graphics issue for me. I killed the process (end task didn't work btw) and restarted, and a little pop up told me the crash flag was set (or something like that) so it was going to restart in default graphic mode, which started right up in less than 2 seconds. It doesn't like either the green or resolution 1280x1024. I'll post which if I can narrow it down.

The green skin seems to be the problem. I have tried both the other skins and the game opens fine. Oh well, I will just have to get used to the blue skin.

9.2.3 is not a patch, just a small bug fix for a certain issue. We will update the full setup files ASAP, but we will not announce it as a patch...

Last patch #6

If this patch is installed, does it includes all the other patches. I have OOTP9 but have not installed and of the patches yet. Any thoughts.
Thanks,
Bob/TX

You only need the 9.2.2 patch.

How do I know

I have 9.1.2 and just downloaded the 9.2.2 patch.

I took the icon and drug it to the OOTP9 and it still shows 9.1.2.

Have I done the right thing or do I need more?

Aggie
