This should be a fun series. I think Cole Hamels will win his starts and the Dodgers will win the rest.

C'mon, Phils. Time to win and make us forget about that train wreck named Mitch Williams in 1993.

I am a Phillies Phan
Having said that...I must say to my either...young or optimistic fellow fanatics... The Phillies will lose in dramatic fashion in 7 games...it is inevitable.

Words I just heard in game 1 that you rarely here:
"....if not for the great (defensive) play by Manny Ramirez."

Did I fall asleep without noticing, or did they really skip the pre-game player intros and national anthem?

It was a great post season game.
Good pitching from both starters, big bats from both teams scored the runs. I love playoffs!

Fox Sports forgot to brief Tim McCarver that Cole Hamels throws a change up. Leads to memorable analysis of Hamels striking a batter out with some sort of cutter/cut fastball and later on declaring that Ryan Madson has the best change up on the Phillies staff.

WOO HOOO! Pat Burrell comes through for the second straight game to win it.The Dodgers with all of those right handed arms are going to have problems all series, they just don't match up well with the Phils.Especially with Moyer being able to pitch game three in the cavrenous Dodger Stadium.Phils in 5,maybe 6

3 pitches in the dirt, 3 strikes. Didn't see that coming.
