Need Help with Stats
Ok, I'm in my current season and playing all the games out in play by play mode.. For whatever reason, the pitchers are hitting a ton of home runs. Brandon Webb has 3 in early May.. Tim Hudson has 2, etc. Several pitchers have 1..
How do I decrease the homeruns for the total league, cause even players like David Eckstein are above their usual average at this point in the season? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

OOTP Baseball Manual - Strategy & Equivalencies Page As implied therein, and has been recommended in these forums, it is wise to leave the league totals alone and work only with the modifiers. Last edited by 1998 Yankees; 10-05-2008 at 03:34 PM. |

Since you want to reduce home runs, that would be the modifier to edit to something under 1.000. What that value would be exactly, I would not know - that's up to you and your taste. I would just recommend minor changes and test leagues to see how much of a change each decrement in the modifier produces in the number of home runs.
