Serious problem ! "Faces file" can't load up !

Hey.

I encountered a serious problem. Last time i saved my league the game crashed in the middle, During the "saving faces file" process.
Now, everytime i try to load my league - It fails when it gets to the faces loading. Is there a way to fix it ? I don't mind losing all the previous faces, I just don't wanna lose my precious saved league.

I am assuming you have no backup copy of your league. If nothing else works and nobody else answers (have you tried Tech Support?), copy the file inside your [game name].lg folder called faces.dat to some other location, just in case. Then copy a faces.dat file from some other saved game (create a new game if necessary). That may work; I seem to recall somebody else mentioning this workaround. If not, restore the old faces.dat file and try Tech Support.

Thanks, problem solved after i deleted the faces.dat file.

Another question if i may - although i selected i do not want fictional players, those "Joe Unknown" keeps showing up on my team. Am i missing something ?

"Joe Unknown" is not a player, he is just a "ghost" who fills an empty spot on a minors team, so that it can function when it has too few personnel to work normally. He's not going to have a real presence in league statistics, history, etc., he's just a fake placeholder in order to give minors teams nine guys on the field at a time.
