One would like to believe there will be more updates, but I'm not certain anyone actually knows. It's likely it will continue to be a work in progress throughout this and future versions, even with the best of intentions and regardless of original aims.

Yes I can understand a wip for future versions. But I also think there will be a final for ver 9. Nobody's heard from Steve on this (or anything afaik). Neither Markus nor anyone has chimed in on this. It's a large manual and I don't want to print it only to see it updated next month.

I'd bet that there will be no more updates to the manual for v9. Next update is probably for the v10 launch next spring / summer.
