BZ 1417: Award History Bug

I had this same issue with the last version of OOTP as well, and though it has likely been brought up in the past, I can't seem to find a post on it.

I started a historical league in 1969, and imported complete history. Once preseason of 1970 rolled around, I checked the award history. The history shows that the awards went to the "real life" players, instead of the players that were selected in the sim. After the first season, things seem to show up properly.

Is this a bug, or an aspect of the import complete history function that I wasn't expecting?

So the 1969 season was simmed and you checked the awards in 1970? Did you manually select the awards or let the computer do it?

I've never used the import complete history function, but yeah, it sounds like a bug.

To illustrate the issue. Top screen shows Killebrew is the 1969 AL MVP (which he was in real like). Bottom screen shows the game awarding Jackson the 1969 AL MVP.

Note that the MVP and ROY are wrong, but the Cy Young is accurate.

I am 99% certain that those previous screenshots were from a league where "Keep this year's stats" was not enabled.

I tried again with 9.1, "Keep this year's stats" disabled and "Import Complete History" enabled. Most awards showed up properly in the award history, however the AL ROY and NL Cy Young were both wrong (awards shown as being given to the historical winner, not the simmed winner).

This issue has been claimed fixed for the upcoming patch (post 9.1.6). If after installing it you still see this behavior, please post in Tech Support. Thanks.
