AS game scheduled on normal day

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ule-issue.html

It's still happening. New year, AS break is from July 15, 16, and 17. AS game is scheduled on the 11th. I have to manually delete it and it's another year without an AS game.

Goofy...

It's still remembering or using the "Auto Schedule All-Star Game" option. It's sometimes an option will still be in use even though it's been disabled (you have to regenerate a schedule with the new options to truly remove all the old options, and it's not always clear when a new schedule has in fact been generated).

In other words, if you start your league with the "wrong" schedule options it can be difficult to get the game to stop using them.

I'd suggest deleting the schedule altogether and importing a new one. Just make sure you have all your schedule options set the way you want beforehand.

Thanks, I will do this next year as it's too late now.

Can you give me a detailed post on how to accomplish this.. I just want a normal MLB style schedule like the one for 2008 with interleague play.

Thanks again!

Does your league match MLB's set up? That is, 5-5-4, 5-6-5 in terms of league structure?

Yes, it's the MLB quickstart as a matter of fact, but with fictional players.

I'm sorry, but I don't know a whole lot about scheduling issues myself. Were you ever able to make much progress on this issue?

I get this issue as well with my custom league. The game says it uses the schedule from major_league_ml_c_2007 even if I get the game to generate the schedule randomly in the offseason (I don't know how the file correlates to the schedule exactly). I do not have the box checked under one of the settings that tells the game to use a corresponding file to create schedules.

The file (major_league_ml_c_2007) lists the all-star game as day 101, and days 100 to 103 do not appear to have any entries in the file. Yet, in-game the all-star game is scheduled on July 3rd (with regular season games) and July 9-12 are the days that do not have any games scheduled.

There's an option in the game setup that says something about an XML file to be used if a matching file is found. That will over-ride any custom schedules if it does find a schedule file to match your league setup.
