Demo stops at August 1st (Game Date)?

I d/l the demo yesterday, imported my career from 00tp 2007, then simmed about 1 month of game time. Now, it won't let me sim past August 1st. Is there something I'm missing? The demo is still good for nine days (real time), and I'm supposed to be able to play the demo for 1.5 years (game time). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Known issue. Pop into this thread in the Tech Support forum and follow the instructions to send them your game files. This has happened a few times.
