Memory & Online League issues

I'm currently using 9.1.6, and just joined my first online league (Suicide Squeeze). I was able to use the file just fine for a couple days, but then had a memory-related crash (not enough hard drive space, I guess?) and the file appeared to corrupt.

Since then, I've tried to redownload the initial league file, but each time I attempt to load it, it gets up to 'creating player pictures', specifically for 'John Chapple', and then freezes. After freezing, it will sit for a while, then simply exit the program.

A second attempt has the same result at 'Finalizing' upon reaching 100%; it will sit, freeze, slow the entire computer down (suggesting a memory leak?) and then exit the program.

My other two saved games, which are NOT online leagues, don't seem to be affected. I've tried reinstalling the update, but have not yet deleted and reinstalled the entire program, which is probably my next best bet.

Not sure what's going on. I'm using a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.4.11, and 2GB RAM on a 2.33GHz system.

So exactly how much available hard drive space do you have right now?
