Got a question

I started a fictional league, simmed a bunch of years, deleted and simmed more for a history and want to take over a team. I made myself commissioner so I could pick the team I wanted to be. I am now their coach. But when I go to unclick commissioner mode, it randomly puts me on a different team.

I am currently getting messages from what seems like every team and I only want to see the messages for my team. How can I fix this?

Nevermind I think I figured it out. I had clicked control all teams at one point and never switched it back.
