Graphics Request (Jersey Logo + Cap Logo + Stadium)

Hi there everyone! I've taken over a team called the Shatian Tentacles (it's in the PRC) in a fictional Asian league. I plan on staying with this team a while, so I'm customizing it a bit, and I'd like some help!

Here's what I would love to have, in order of wantedness..

Jersey Logo: This is what I want most.. All I'd want is the word "Tentacles" (in green [hex: 329619]) in script, outlined in black. HOWEVER, if you have a better idea for a jersey logo (because I'm not a graphical artist), I'd like to hear it!
Team Logo: This is what I see most often, but I have a stand-in (for now) from cephasjames' logo collection. Not sure what I'd like to see here.. I was thinking three tentacles clutching a baseball, or a single curled tentacle (or whatever) along with text saying "Tentacles".

Cap Logo: Like the team logo, but sans text..

Stadium: I know these are hard to do, so I'm honestly not expecting much in this department. The only defining feature of the park (what makes it unique) is a Green Monster-type thing in *right* field. I'm currently using Fenway Park, but the stadium is only supposed to seat around 10k people since it is minor league.

Threw this together real quickly... will work on it some more later...

I was thinking something like this for the Jersey, and for the cap, something sort of similiar but with just a letter "T" instead of the entire word "Tentacles" and something like that for the team logo, too ?

Do you want something like a circular logo for the team logo?

And yes, I was thinking a circular type team logo, as well as a stylized "T" for the cap.

This is something I "threw together".. (Okay, it's taken 7 hours.. I'm not an artist! honest!)

It's really just a concept of what a team logo would look like. If I was going to finish it, I'd shrink it a little and add more tentacles grabbing the ball. I'd also cut out the "Shatian" text, and stylize (somehow) the "Tentacles" text. Oh, and I'd make it look better in general.. heh.

I dunno. I'd like to see what you can come up with.. it's likely better than what I did. Which is why I asked in the first place.

Well.. I loaded it up in OOTP, and, frankly, the jersey is the most damn amazing thing I've ever seen.. I think it looks *awesome*.

The cap, though, looks like it has a J on it.. I know it's a tentacle-ly T, but it looks like a J.. I do have to say, though, that I certainly didn't expect the really neat cap also!

Great job as you always seem to do. I really love that uniform. Nice work too on the cap. I think it looks better with an S than the T but of course it was not made for me.

Well, I looked at it last night, and I didn't like the "S" as much.. but I slept on it (and loaded it up this morning) and, frankly, it has grown on me.

I'd like to say thanks for the art! I really appreciate it very much.

That uniform certainly looks pretty sweet. Some people think that more plain and "normal" uniforms are better, but I like the ones that are a bit more lively. Just because MLB is prudish about colorful uniforms being unprofessional doesn't mean that our fictional leagues have to be as well.

I have been one of those that prefered the more historical aspect of the uniforms, actually. But with seeing some that others have done, and having the template to work with, I like both now. You can thank this creators of the photoshop template for this one. I actually clicked on a layer I didnt intend to accidentally to make it visible and I liked the result from that accident..

So.. much of the thanks belong to Deft and No Peppers!!!!

Sometimes the accidents that happen like that turn out to be better than the one we wanted. Happens to me a lot anyway. Yes, I would like to thank the guys who have given us these templates to use. Sure makes it easy to create the kind of uniform you want with the layers already done. I use Paint Shop Pro and there are some nice layered templates for that as well.
And personally, I prefer the colorful uniforms as opposed to all white or gray or just striped. Always have ever since I first saw Pittsburgh and Oakland doing that. And now of course you can make it just about as colorful as you want. So that is good. And your work is excellent as I have stated earlier. So, good for you. Glad you are here doing this for others. Makes the game so much better, IMHO...

Okay, I've been playing around with a nifty (free!) vector graphics program that I found, called Inkscape. I managed to make the outside ring of the team logo. I basically copied what you created, but I wanted to show off what I did because I'm exceedingly happy with it. ^.^

Looks very good. Never heard of that program. If you are not using Microsoft then that would explain it. I am going to check it out anyway. For those who are looking for a good program to create logos for your teams I suggest using LogoMaker. No, it is not free. Sorry. Anyway, it works great for creating logos for this sim.
