Various Bugs
I've tried to scan the old messages for any of these--I'm sure some of them have been noticed before.
When building an historical season, the game gives no fielding stats for outfielders that were traded during the year being simmed. [For example, Turkey Mike Donlin in 1904 is listed with a number of games played, but no assists, putouts, or errors. As a result, the game gives him an 'E' arm rating, since he threw out no baserunners.] I have run into the bug, mentioned on this list, where a pitcher is injured and the 'use highest rested starter' feature then skips everyone behind him in the rotation. Is there a fix for this one yet? Why can't the schedule-maker create a schedule where teams play each other the same number of times? I run a 6-team league with a 160 game schedule, and instead of having each team play each other 32 times, some play as many as 40 times and others as few as 24. My wives have extremely long pregnancies. If my wife is pregnant when a season ends, the months of the off-season don't count, so she gives birth a year after getting pregnant. I think this sometimes happens with injuries as well. On the other hand, my wife sometimes gives me the happy news that she's pregnant as little as 5 days after we start trying to conceive. I know you can get pregnant that fast, but it's amazing how she knows. ![]() The drop-down menus are incredibly annoying--please go back to buttons. Not exactly a bug, but on the strategies menu it seems odd that the red "hot" side of the menu is for doing something _less_ often, except for the two defensive rankings and the two pitcher usage rankings, where it is reversed. I know I've hit more snags than these, but this will do for one post--have to get back to work. Many thanks for any help you can give me, Grant |
