Anxiously awaiting the release of this mod! Hopefully itll be done by tonight so I can start it.

Phew, plowing through these, getting close but I am going to have to take a Madden '09 break here soon.

Still hoping to finish them tonight. If not tonight, first thing tomorrow early afternoon. It's very very close.

Also I can promise that the wait of last night WILL be worth it. Have probably added around 120-150 prospects alone today that were missing along with touching up other things, looking very final for once!

Just you don´t get Football crazy before you finished this.
NFL is just in pre-season and you have to keep that urge away for at least 1 week while finishing this AND perhaps adjust some smaller details that most surely pops up with this well awaited realese.

Have been playing Madden 09 for the last 2 hours. It is friggin' awesome, and I would totally absolutely not blame you for neglecting the roster in favor of it.

I started using this roster set yesterday, and it's probably the best roster set I've used with any version of OOTP. There are some differences from real-life, but I found most simmed results were very believable. Tampa Bay and both Chicago teams seemed to play worse than they do in the actual 2008 season, but all other teams are performing as predicted.

I'm curious as to what modifiers people use with this set. I found steals were too high, and errors and double plays were too low, so I changed the steals frequency to "rarely", the errors modifier to 1.3, and the double plays modifier to 1.5. If anyone else noticed further improvements to this set's simming accuracy using modifiers, please post or let me know.

Thanks for the roster set. It turns a very good computer game into an excellent game.

Also while I sit here and wait, the next sub-release is going to be a quick one with updated coaches. I'm planning on deleting most of the free-agent coach pool as well since it's filled with guys who are (not only fake) but better than the current coaches like Torre, Cox, etc.

IMO if you want to hire a new coach, you shouldn't be able to just run out and hire someone just as good as a MLB manager.

Does anyone know if there's a list anywhere of ex-coaches? I'd like to populate the free agent coach pool with guys who are unemployed right now to at least give the teams a chance at signing someone else who's real.

Isn't the file the 2.5 file, not the 3.0 file that the front says?

Hmmmm... let me try repacking it.

Actually I don't have the newest patch applied yet so there might be some issues there. Let me try to download it and then reupload the rosters.

It's working fine here. Man, I've just got to say, this is probably the best roster set I've seen for any version. This is really impressive!
